After passing the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) in 2014, I was au- thorized to practice medicine in the U.S. I completed a Fellowship in Cataract and Glaucoma at Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Belo Horizonte in September 2021 and a hands-on fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary's Department of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2018. Additionally, I served as a lab technician conducting scientific experiments at Montefiore Hospital - Albert Einstein School of Medicine at Yeshiva University in 2014. Throughout my career, I have pursued continual professional development through courses, specializa- tions, and conference participation both in Brazil and internationally. Additionally, I have contributed to the academic and scientific community, publishing a book chapter, 9 full articles in journals, presenting at 9 conferences, participating in 20 symposiums, and organizing 2 events.
